Rattlesnake Mtn Backyard Paradise

One of the best designs/installations of 2021! I had the privilege of designing and co-managing this project as a part of the Musser Landscaping team.

The original landscape was an unusable sloping lawn. I pushed the boulder wall back toward the house to create a large pool and spa patio, accessible from both the existing patio and the new pool house. The centerpiece of this design is the two-tiered waterfall mound that also accommodates a 29’ pool slide. The waterfalls were built to be seen from all outdoor living spaces and complement the homeowners’ view of Rattlesnake Mountain. The pool house, fire pit patio and spa all line up with the mountain view.

I could not have asked for a more wonderful client and team. The permitting process was smooth, the subcontractors were great, and the resulting landscape exceeded expectations. Builds were a bit challenging during these Covid times, but clients/projects like this one are what keep me coming back for more!
